The Base

Description

This thriller, published by the Good Tree Press in association with the Islamic Book Trust, follows an 18-year-old girl named Zoe and her father Rowan, a senior military intelligence analyst based at RAF Akrotiri. The plot unravels how abstract metadata surveillance patterns directly tie into real-world lethal conflicts and air operations across Gaza. Under the cold pressure of a predatory military AI architecture, it masterfully traces the emotional fractures and moral conflicts ripping through a single family.
