Do Qaumein (Urdu)

Description

In Urdu, Do Qaumein Aur Anya Kahaniyaan brings together stories from Saadat Hasan Manto, widely regarded as the greatest short-story writer in Urdu literature. Best known for unflinching classics like Toba Tek Singh and Thanda Gosht, Manto's fiction cuts to the rawest edges of human behaviour and the trauma of Partition with a clarity and moral urgency that made him one of the most controversial — and celebrated — writers of the 20th century. This Hindi edition, edited by Nadim Nadeem, brings his searing storytelling to a new generation of readers.
