This is not a complete dictionary of Quranic words but a collection of explanations of selected words, drawn from Farahi's Arabic writings and the explanations of his students. It highlights meanings that are present in old Arab usage but were missed by many lexicographers and scholars, and it also corrects some words that earlier commentators handled loosely, in light of Arab speech and the Quran. This is the second, revised edition.
