Description
Sulphite by Noor Rajpoot is her novel about the seven phases of life, published by Ahmed Book Store. In the preface, she shares that she wrote it four years ago at just twenty years old, and that it still feels relevant to her today. The book was inspired by two characters who pushed her to pick up the pen — one of whom made her feel life had become hellish because of social media criticism and judgment at the time. She wrote it while facing harsh criticism as a young, still-developing writer, and says this novel is what gave her identity as an author.
