Yaani is one of Jaun Elia's most significant poetry collections, compiled by the poet himself and released posthumously — thirteen years after his first collection, Shayad. Its publication was delayed partly because Elia struggled with the pressure of following his acclaimed debut, and because he wanted to write an elaborate preface himself but was unable to due to his declining health. This edition includes many of his most quoted ghazals, making it essential reading for admirers of his poetry.
